The EGL Volunteer Abroad Diary

Volunteer Abroad (VA) gives EGL students, at the University of Michigan, a chance to spend two weeks in a foreign country working on a service project and experiencing the foreign culture. Not only do students get to help a region in need with a relevant service project, but they also get to bond with a group of EGL students and gain a great deal of leadership experience. Guatemala VA: Day 1 Recap

On the afternoon of August 14, our group of nine students arrived in Guatemala City and proceeded to take a shuttle to the Casa Sito Volunteer House in Antigua.
